I have a 2000 XL 1200 limited. The PTO cylinder power valve broke. The head chamber has no marks. The cylinder wall does not have any scratches at all either. The piston has some damage on the top edge right by the exhaust port and will have to be replaced. Do I need to do anything to the cylinder before putting a new piston in it. The ski has an SBT engine in it from 2011 with about 25 hours on the engine. It has a steel cylinder sleeve with a std size piston and you can still see the hone marks in the cylinder wall. I found the broken power valve in the water box
